More about the Settings view… |
Main window:![]() It displays the main options. You can: - Connect to IGS sever - Edit or view a sgf file - Setting the application behavior - See this tutorial - or Exit. Next we’ll present the IGS option. —————————————————————————————————————————– |
IGS mode:![]() In this window you can connect to IGS server by pressing the Login button. If you receive an error message check the user/password saved in Settings. The user must be a valid account on IGS. If the login is successful a info pop up will show the user name and the current rank like in the example below.
After a connection was established you can see the games list, players list or your adjourned games list. —————————————————————————————————————————– |
Games list:![]() Here you can find out what games are played on the server. Click the Refresh button to retrieve a new game list from the server. Press Menu (hardware button) for sorting the list by rank or by move number. ![]() To filter the list you can press the search hardware button. The following window asks for a filter to use: ![]() The result will be like in this image:
—————————————————————————————————————————– |
Players list:![]() The system first ask you about the lowest/highest rank and status opened or not for the searched players. ![]() Like in the games list, you can sort the players list by name or by rank and you can apply a filter by pressing the Search hardware button. —————————————————————————————————————————– |

The game information is at the top of the screen and the game controls are at the bottom of the screen. To zoom-in, press the zoom button or touch the screen once on the location you want to observe in details. To zoom-out press again on the screen or press the zoom button. ![]() At any time, by accessing the Menu you can save the game or you can change the application settings. Invitations:![]() As long as you are connected to IGS and if a player is challenging you for a game, a pop-up like this will inform you about it. Further you can ask for the player status by pressing the “Info” button. ![]() You can accept, decline or modify the game conditions. After you’ve made the necessary changes press OK to send back your challenge and wait for an answer. If the opponent will accept, the game will start immediately. You can also send a challenge to a player from the players list. A simple touch on the player will pop-up same window. Change the terms of the game as you like and press the Ok button. The game will immediately start when the other player accepts your challenge. —————————————————————————————————————————– |
Playing:![]() After an invitation is accepted the game will start in a new window. To put a stone on the board, you simply touch the board. The first touch will zoom in and let you place a stone more accurately. The second touch will send the move to the sever. If you set the application to ask for a confirmation before sending the move, you must touch the screen again in the same place in order for the move to be sent to IGS. If you are playing over the internet, the move will be sent first to the server and then will appear on your board (for this reason you will notice a small lag – it’s normal) —————————————————————————————————————————– |
Chat:![]() Enjoy your chat while you play! You can reach to chat window pressing the menu button from the play window. To send the message tap the input box after you write the message. —————————————————————————————————————————– |

Settings:![]() Visit this section to configure the AndroidNoGo client. On IGS you can observe, play and save games. For this you need a valid account opened before hand. If you don’t have a Pandanet account yet, you can register here. Here you can enter the name and the password you are using on the IGS server. You can also toggle the automail, open and looking options. Check the sound option if you want to hear the sound when the stone was put on the table. Also if after sending the move you want an automatic zoom out don’t forget to check the option. If you are playing an important game is preferable to check the “move confirm” option to avoid unwanted mistakes. —————————————————————————————————————————– |
